Louisiana Coalition for Interior Design (LCID) is an advocacy alliance to promote the professional and legislative aspects of Interior Design in Louisiana. Our mission is to unify, advance, and contribute to the profession to promote the value and increase understanding of interior design.
MISSION

UNIFY

Educate colleagues, legislators, and the public regarding what defines a registered/license Interior Designer. Identify and emphasize the specific attributes, contributions, and importance interior designers have in the professional building industry.

Enhance how interior design is utilized and valued in the workplace and impacts on economic development.

Establish support, improve communication, and encourage unity in the interior design community.

Promote the Profession and it's best practices in business through a unified voice for interior designers.

ADVANCE
Promote and advance the practice of interior design to the fullest extent of our statute.

Effectively communicate our concerns to government entities.

Improve coordination and collaboration with our allied profession and trade organizations in Louisiana.

CONTRIBUTE
Contribute to the protection of health, safety, and welfare of the public.

Encourage and promote leadership in interior health, safety, and welfare and subsequent code development.

Promote health, safety, and welfare research and application in interior environments as specialists, especially for diverse populations.
